Successful appeal against Lambeth Council in refusal to grant a certificate of lawful use of development.
The client contacted 4D Planning to prepare a planning appeal against Lambeth Council for their refusal to grant permission for the change of use of the premises to a wine bar/ bistro. We produced a convincing appeal statement confirming and proving that the premises had always been a wine bar/ bistro since 1987 and that a recent permission for a change of use to a community centre was not implemented. Furthermore, the council failed to enforce against the breach of planning within 10 years of the planning application. Our appeal was successful and the certificate of lawfulness was issued by the Planning Inspectorate.
