4D Planning were commissioned to assist the owner of a second floor flat to obtain planning permission for the erection of a small rear dormer window to the rear of a terraced building. The property is in a Conservation Area and it was necessary to consider the local precedent and character of the wider area. The applicant required the additional light, ventilation and headroom to the loft space to make it habitable. We negotiated with Lambeth Council and prepared multiple designs until the Council eventually granted planning permission.
