The property was in a conservation area and the council were not willing to allow for alterations to the roof due to the positive contribution the property makes to the character of the street and the wider area. We were forced to withdraw the application. Following negotiations with the council we slightly revised the scheme and reapplied. Planning permission was granted by Enfield Council.
