Certificate of Lawfulness (Existing), Change of Use.
Certificate of lawfulness granted for existing use of the property as a residential unit (Use Class C3). The change from live-work use class (sui-generis) to residential use (C3) of the unit were substantially completed more than four years before the date of the application.
The applicant instructed 4D Planning to assist with obtaining Camden Council's approval for the change of use (retrospectively) of the property from live-work to a residential unit. We advised that we can avoid applying for planning permission since there was sufficient evidence proving that the works and use were carried out over 4 years prior. We prepared the drawings and application documents and submitted the application for a lawful development certificate. The application was granted a lawful development certificate.
