The client of this property contacted us after erecting a fence along the boundary wall of the property which was above 2m in height. Planning permission is required for fences over 2 metres therefore the Council received a complaint from a neighbour and the client was asked to submit a retrospective application for the fence, or take it down. 4D Planning were instructed to prepare the drawings and application. The application was approved following discussions and liaison with the council.
