Dormer window on the rear roof elevation
4D Planning advised the client on the likelihood of obtaining planning permission for an extension to the attic of a small flat. The building was situated in a conservation area and there was no immediate precedent. 4D Planning produced the drawings, the design and access statement and submitted the application. Following meetings with the planning officer and email communications, Camden Council decided to refuse the application. 4D Planning advised the client to appeal as we were confident that there was a good case. Eventually the appeal was successful and planning permission was granted.
4D Planning were also instructed to produce the building regulations and to liase with Building Control until the works were completed and signed off by the Inspector.
