Change of use to minicab booking office.
Certificate of lawfulness for the proposed use of part of the property as a minicab booking office with no visiting staff or customers.
4D Planning were instructed to advise the client if use of part of the ground floor of a single family dwelling as a office for mini cabs requires a change of use planning permission.
We advised that it should be lawful as long as the person running the office lives in the house and will be working alone. Also the property should not have customers or members of staff visit. Furthermore taxi drivers would need to park their cabs away from the property. We applied for a lawful development certificate and it was approved as lawful by Hounslow Council.
