Double storey side and rear extension
Two storey extension side and rear to a semi detached house
4D Planning assisted the client with obtaining planning permission for a double storey side and double storey rear extension to a semi detached house in Prestwich. The site and boundary was at an angle, and it was a challenge to design an extension which would provide habitable space which is usable and at the same time, avoid overlooking or overshadowing the neighbouring property. We designed the extension to be away from the neighbour's windows with a 45 degree angle rule taken into account. Bury Council granted planning permission.
