Proposed Development

Advised client on potential to extend family dwelling to the maximum. Prepared architectural drawings. Prepared applications for planning permission and lawful development certificiate. Liaised with client and council until both applications were approved.

4D Planning were instructed to prepare an application for planning permission to extend the semi-detached property in Hendon to the maximum possible. We examined the precedent along the road to establish what the character of the street is and what the council have allowed. We advised the client to extend double storey on the side and rear as long as it is subordinate and slightly set back from the front, as well as roof extension with a loft conversion and rooflights and a garage conversion and front porch extension. We submitted multiple applications and eventually the extensions that we proposed were all approved.
