Proposed Development

Development consisting of a change of use of a building and any land within its curtilage to use falling within class C3 (dwelling houses) of the schedule to the use classes order from a use falling within class B1 (a) (offices) of that schedule. Installation of rear access door of lower ground floor level and construction of refuse storage area at front. Installation of access door of lower ground floor level.

 

4D Planning's Role

4D Planning advised the client on the planning strategy required to obtain planning permission and a desirable outcome to convert the office building into the maximum number of residential units. We advised to apply under Prior Approval for the conversion to flats and separately for planning permission for a new access via the front to the ground floor flat. We also applied for the refuse store and other minor alterations to the property. All applications were approved by Waltham Forest Council. 4D Planning were also commissioned to produce the building regulations and to liaise with Building Control. We liaised with the builder to ensure that all works were carried out correctly.
