4D Planning met with the client and discussed the feasibility of extending the property to the maximum. 4D Planning were instructed to prepare a planning application with all the plans, sections and elevation drawings for the application. We designed the house with a large double storey side and rear extension, a roof extension and other internal alterations to significantly increase the size of the house. The house is a detached property on the edge of the road just outside the conservation area.

Following several months of negotiations and discussions with Croydon Council, 4D Planning were able to secure planning permission for the client despite several objections from neighbours. A few months later the client contacted us saying that the proposed development that was granted permission is too large and they would like to scale it down. We prepare a revised application for a smaller footprint and it was subsequently approved as well.
