Roof Extension. Loft Extension.
Roof extension involving extension of the existing rear dormer window to create a rear/both sides wrap around dormer window and 1 no. roof light to front elevation, to facilitate a loft extension.
4D Planning were commissioned to prepare the design and architectural drawings for a loft conversion with a wrap around large dormer to maximise the permitted development rights of the detached house. We advised the client on the guidelines and how to push achieve the largest possible extension to maximise the loft and habitable space. We liaised with Barnet Council's planners to ensure that the application would be approved. The planning application was granted planning permission/ lawful development certificate.
We also produced some 3D visualisations to enhance the project for the benefit of the client.
