4D Planning advised the client on the feasibility of maximising the potential of the property. The client wanted a large double storey side extension and a roof extension over the side and rear. We designed the extensions and renovation of the property to the client's brief with some useful suggestions which were implemented in the design. 4D Planning prepared several planning applications and all associated architectural drawings and liaised with Barnet Council Planning department throughout the process until the applications were subsequently approved.

4D Planning was instructed to assist the owner of the semi detached house to extend the property to the maximum and convert the property into flats. 4D Planning prepared all the architectural drawings and submitted multiple applications. An application for a single storey side extension was approved. Following that was an application for a double storey side extension, roof extension with rear dormer and Juliet balconies, rooflights, a front porch and a single storey extension at the rear and alterations to the front boundary. 4D Planning negotiated with the council regarding the option to convert the property into three flats but the council would not accept more than two flats. 4D Planning prepared an application for the conversion into two flats with associated parking, refuse store and cycle parking.
