Proposed Development

Erection of a rear roof extension including the formation of a hip to gable roof extension; installation of 2no. rooflights in the front roofslope; installation of a door to replace existing window to the rear elevation at second floor level to provide access to existing roof terrace.


4D Planning's role

4D Planning were instructed to assist the client with the design of a rear roof extension as well as the installation of 2 rooflights in the front slope of the roof for light and ventilation.  The client also wished to have access to the roof above his home in order to be able to have a usable roof terrace, and we therefore applied for planning to replace the existing window at the second floor rear elevation with a door in order to achieve this. Hammersmith and Fulham Council granted planning permission.
