4D Planning were instructed to establish the full potential of a large semi-detached property. 4D Planning conducted a site appraisal following site visits and consultations with the client. 4D Planning advised to convert the property into flats following a number of possible extensions to increase the habitable space.
A basement was proposed with a lightwell, a rear extension on ground floor and first floor levels, a roof terrace with obscured glazing to protect the neighbour’s privacy, and a large roof extension with dormers. 4D Planning advised to apply for the extensions first and once approved, a further Full Planning Application was submitted to Hackney Council for the conversion into three flats. Both applications were granted permission.
