Conversion of single family dwelling into 3 self contained flats comprising (2 x 2 bed and 1 x 3 bed) with associated amenity and parking.

 

4D Planning's Role

4D Planning was instructed to prepare a feasibility assessment to establish whether planning permission was likely to be granted for conversion of a single dwelling to two or three flats. There was no precedent along the road. We established that due to the setting and size of the house, a conversion into 3 flats would be feasible but this could only be confirmed following a measured survey of the property. 4D Planning was then instructed to prepare the planning application documents and architectural drawings. We designed a scheme comprising three flats which met the planning policies and planning guidance. Enfield Council granted planning permission for the development.
