The pub on Chester Road, Manchester, closed in the early 1990s and burnt down in 2012. Manchester-based developer Generation Ltd has submitted plans for 27 apartments at the former Bull’s Head site in the city. The pub on Chester Road closed in the early 1990s and burnt down in 2012.Generation, which is behind the redevelopment of the iconic Toast Rack in Fallowfield, purchased the site last year and is now pushing forward its plans which include 18 two-bed and nine one-bed apartments. The £6m scheme has two levels of outdoor terraces and a private courtyard area for tenants, while some of the duplex apartments have a private terrace. Should planning be approved by Manchester City Council work could start in the summer with completion in summer 2019.
