Plans to upgrade a luxury Grade II-listed manor house in Buckinghamshire with bigger kitchen

The owner of a Grade II manor house has lodged a planning application for his Horsenden Manor, once valued at £4.5million, in Horsenden, near Princes Risborough.

Submitted last December, he told Wycombe District Council that he needs 'space for a modern kitchen/breakfast area, that is better suited to a family house of this size'.

The proposals include the addition of a glass extension with huge sliding glass doors on the back of the three-storey mansion.

Formerly known as Horsenden House and built in 1810, the home is in a conservation area, and already boasts a salon, library, and drawing room. The property also has a recording studio, granary, and garages. Planning permission was approved.
