Simon

Simon is an experienced Planning Consultant with over 12 years of professional experience in urban planning and development control. A member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), Simon has worked extensively across Greater London and the South East, guiding both residential and commercial developments through complex planning processes.

After earning his undergraduate degree in Urban Studies from the University of Sheffield, Simon went on to complete a Master’s in Spatial Planning at University College London (UCL). His career began in the public sector, working for several local authorities including Lambeth and Sutton Councils, where he gained in-depth knowledge of planning policy and local development frameworks.

Since joining 4D Planning, Simon has successfully overseen a wide range of applications involving change of use, listed buildings, development in conservation areas, and large-scale domestic extensions. 

He has particular expertise in negotiating with local authorities, managing appeals, and handling complex planning projects.
