4D Planning was instructed to assist the client with obtaining planning permission for improvements to an existing residential property in Ickenham, Hillingdon. The proposals involved the installation of external insulation, the application of render and amendments to the existing fenestration, with the aim of improving the property’s thermal performance, appearance and overall condition.

We prepared the planning drawings and supporting information required to clearly present the proposed external alterations. Particular attention was given to the design and appearance of the insulation and render, as well as the proposed changes to the windows and their relationship with the existing building and surrounding properties.

The planning application was submitted to the London Borough of Hillingdon on the client’s behalf, and 4D Planning managed the application through the planning process. The proposals were successfully assessed by the Council and planning permission was granted for the external insulation, render and fenestration works.
