Change of use of premises from professional services (use class A2), to laser hair removal clinic (Sui generis), new lettering above shopfront, replacement of existing projecting sign and associated internal alterations.
4D PLANNING were instructed to assist the client with alterations to the premises to create a laser hair removal clinic. The project included internal changes to a Grade II listed building as well as changes to the shop front and facade. We produced the architectural drawings and the planning documents to support the proposal. We submitted the application to Tower Hamlets Council and liaised with the planning officers to ensure that the application would be decided within the timeframe and favourably. The application was granted planning permission.
The application site is centered around a private gated courtyard, New Crane Wharf is a Grade II listed wharf building which has been converted into flats on the upper levels and has a number of commercial units at ground floor level.
