Plans have been submitted for the redevelopment of Manchester's Piccadilly Gardens, including the replacement of the park's existing brutalist pavilion building with a larger structure featuring a new covered open space, the current pavilion and wall would be replaced with two new pavilion buildings to sit along side improved gardens and lighting, as well as new bars and restaurants.
