A Family is left £27,000 out of pocket after getting their loft conversion done by a friend who left their £400,000 house in danger of ‘catastrophic structural collapse’
 
  • Recently retired Diane McDonald paid Marc Foley £25,000 to do the work, the family friend left the house in danger of ‘catastrophic structural collapse’  Ms McDonald had to go back to work and fork out £27,000 for a second worker? Foley was jailed for four months for his 'utterly substandard' loft conversion.  A cowboy builder who took £27,000 from a family friend for a loft conversion but left their £400,000 home in danger of ‘catastrophic structural collapse’ has been jailed.
